Cultivate – Leadership Development Program

Cultivate is an intentional leadership development program that will see ICC recruit, develop and retain leaders for its growing ministries and send out leaders to impact society. ICC believes that for the church to grow to reach more, its leadership base should be wide enough to contain and sustain such growth.

Cultivate objective:

Empowering all leaders to grow in:

  • Character
  • Confidence
  • Compassion
  • Competency (skilled servant leaders who equip others)

Guiding philosophy

Cultivate seeks to build leadership capacity to resource our vision of impacting the city, the nation and the nations for Christ. We desire is to empower all our leaders to pass on “the leadership baton” by growing from being workers to equippers to multipliers. This philosophy is exemplified by the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ and the early church as captured in 2 Timothy 2:2 stated below.

2 Timothy 2:2

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

1 Million Strong Program

ICC believes in the youth people. In collaboration with woodlands church, we are engaged in the 1 million Youth Leadership Program.

The 1 Million Strong Program aims at impacting the lives of 1 million young people over a span of 10 years.  We will do this through a 14-week life skills training focused on values and character development.

Its based on biblical principles, but is geared to students of all religions and beliefs.  It covers topics such as attitude as the greatest asset in life, the importance of having principles and values as well as substance abuse.  Other topics are knowing and understanding your purpose, identity and personal growth, handling disappointment, friends and their influence on one’s life and Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

In addition to interacting with the students we offer Inner Visioning for head teachers and Transformer Training for teachers.  This seeks to create transformational environments that will be the foundation of the change we desire to see over the next 10 years and beyond.
